About this training:
This five (5)-hour training is for Project Yoga Teachers and other 200-hour trained yoga instructors who want to teach yoga from a trauma-informed perspective. It is also for anyone who would like to develop a deeper understanding of trauma while exploring the therapeutic, healing benefits of practicing mindfulness and yoga for the mind and body.
Our exploration of trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness will include discussion, reflection, practice, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Breath Integration for mind-body wellness
Mindfulness tools and practices
Defining trauma and understanding how the mind and body responds to trauma
Trauma-informed yoga overview
Identifying potential harmful/triggering yoga poses
Application of trauma-informed techniques
Understanding and unpacking biases and their Implications in yoga instruction
